Zygomatic Implants

Zygomatic implants are different from conventional dental implants in that they anchor in to the zygomatic bone rather than the maxilla. They may be used when maxillary bone quality or quantity is inadequate for the placement of regular dental implants.

Endodontics

The endodontist is responsible for offering solutions to all problems concerning dental roots and nerves. Root canal treatment is the most widely known procedure, by which the dental pulp is removed and the root canals are deeply cleaned from bacterial contamination provoked by root caries or by fractures causing inflammation and pain.

This procedure's aim is to eliminate completely pain and disinfect dental roots, as to be able to seal the root canals and to prevent further bacterial contamination.

Periodontology is the specialty of dentistry which deals with preventing, diagnosing and treating oral illnesses and health conditions affecting the tissues that give support to the teeth (gums, periodontal ligament, cementum and alveolar bone).

Orthodontics

One of the best known specialties, orthodontics is in charge of preventing and correcting the dental misplacement and malocclusion based on controlled and systematic dental movements.

 

The orthodontist is responsible for placing brackets and arch wires, as well as for carrying out an effective and preventive treatment by means of orthopedics, helping and guiding sufficient growth of the jawbones to avoid lack of space for future teeth to erupt, therefore shortening the treatment time and the subsequent treatment complexity.

 

INVISALIGN

 

This new orthodontic technique that uses transparent aligners, help the patient to aligning the teeth and improving the smile. Each aligners are manufactured in a personal way so that the teeth adopt a correct posiction in a progressive way.

 

The aligners can be removed for eating and brushing teeth. Also as they are totally transparent almost nobody Will notice that you are wearing them. As it does not have metallic elemnets it prevents chafing and sores in the mouth. This tecnique allows to correct mosto f the common dental rpobles such as: crowding, overbite, inverted and crossed bite and teeth gaps. And the best of al lis that it is predictable since day one, with a computer application, patients can approximately visualize the result of the treatment once it is finished.
